Jazz Thursdays

Liven Up Datong Nightlife

Many people live in Datong and Dadaocheng, spending their days working in other parts of Taipei, only to return home in the evening and find there is not much to do nearby. Starting now, every Thursday night, House of Story Wear – The Library Bar will stay open until 23:00, featuring live performances by talented jazz musicians and occasional impromptu jam sessions, bringing a fresh new nightlife experience to Datong and Dadaocheng.

 

As House of Story Wear does not serve food, guests are encouraged to enjoy dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants beforehand, or bring takeaway from local eateries to The Library Bar. Sip a drink, enjoy live jazz, and let the space become a neighbourhood living room where people can unwind after work, catch up with friends, and meet new faces.

 

In addition, Happy Hour runs every Thursday to Saturday from 18.00 to 20.00, adding a little more music, conversation, and community to the evenings in Dadaocheng, and giving people one more reason to stay awhile.
